The Dash

The Dash represents the mark between when one is born and when one
dies. It is a sobering thought, but we only have a brief period of time on this earth. We define it by the way we live, love, and give to others. This page of the website is a vivid reminder that the fact that we all leave sooner or later. I have always asked my self the question,"If I knew I was going to die tomorrow, would I live differently today? Unfortunately, some of us dont get the chance to answer that question. These pictures bring home the reality that the rich and famous, as well as the poor and unknown, are reduced to a few words on a piece of marble. The only thing that really last is what they left behind in the hearts of others. Think about it....if you knew you were going to die...would you live your life different today?.

I believe that imagination is stronger than knowledge - myth is more potent than history - dreams are more powerful than facts - hope always triumphs over experience - laughter is the cure for grief - love is stronger than death”
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I have not lived.”
