Legacy Road was about creating an original album to ultimately support the children of Nicaragua. In the end, there was no difference between a paint brush and a guitar. We spent several wonderful days in Managua, Nicaragua painting a school, setting up a cyber cafe with 10 donated computers, and having a roof put on Roger and Sonja Gonazalez's home. I remember the first time I visited the Gonzalez home, In the night, the rain would drip on my face while I slept. They dont have to worry about the rain anymore. It was a blessed time with 20 friends and family from Nashville, Tennessee, Georgia, and South Carolina. It was a concert of actions that showed love just like music. The end product was helping a community feel proud of their school while filling our hearts with a true perspective of how good a life we have back home. The marriage of two passions - music and fundraising - was demonstrated in a way that truly fills the heart with purpose and meaning. These pictures capture our work and fellowship in Nicaragua. It was a Christmas that will never be forgotten. For sure, giving is the key to life and through this project love will always remains.
